(More customer reviews)I've been getting into fishing and I usually prefer live bait as I can get snagged a lot on the Susquehanna River. The concept of this product is fantastic and overall it works tremendously. There is no hassle in collapsing and expanding the trap. It is compact enough for fishing and large enough to probably even catch small lobster. On my first try with chicken livers I caught roughly 40 crayfish in one night. But this product is pretty bad overall because of one thing, it is cheaply made. After one use of this trap, the crayfish teared through the bait bag with no problem, ate everything, and made this trap a one time use. The rest of the material is also very cheap as well, but it did at least hold up well. The sewing on this bag is atrocious, The fabric were the zipper is was fraying right out of the package. Because my mother knew how to sew, we replaced the weak bait bag fabric with an extra heavy duty kitchen screening mesh and reworked the zippers. Overall, this product is very cheaply made but the design and concept is very ingenious and convenient. If there were better materials, even if it made the product $50 ~ $70, this product would be a 5/5. I don't recommend it unless you are up to some simple modifications.
