(More customer reviews)The net, which was purchased from Sports Authority, is good for pitching practice and fielding practice.The ball comes off quick, much faster than it would in a 10U game (maybe older kids too) and therefore improves quick response time effectively.The swinging net option is great and gives the ball some unpredictability, also improving the child's response time.The pop fly practice feature isn't really all that good and they should take it off of the box.When the net is set in the pop fly position, the balls come off as just above line drives.The reason this review is 4 stars out of 5 is because the storage features aren't explained well in the instructions.So this how it can be stored and moved easier:
1.Using one Locking Pin, secure the Adjustable Post (Part 7) middle attachment to the netted frame, keeping the net in place.
2.Using 2 more Locking Pins, secure the Rear Support Tubes (Part 11) to the Lower Support Tubes (Part 10) on each side, keeping the back support in place.
3.Then use the Hanging S Hooks to hang for storage.We used yellow plastic coated screwing type hooks instead.
#1 and #2 should be done before moving it to avoid parts flopping around.Be careful when hanging and removing from storage as the net catches easily.If a knot is undone on the net, the net will slowly unravel.We are currently in the process of getting a replacement net since our kids weren't careful with it when we first got it; maybe also due to the vague storage instructions since parts were probably flopping around and getting caught on things.The net works fine without the ground stakes.The parts for this product aren't available at [...] and you must call for replacement parts.We are in the process of getting a new net - hope it goes well...
